Fried Peas (Mutter fry)

Ingredients:
  • Peas (Mutter) - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 (chopped)
  • Curry leaves - 10
  • Chilly powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - small amount
  • Oil - 1 tblspoon
  • Mustard - 10
  • Cumin - 20
  • Fennel - 10
  • Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Biriyani powder - 1/2 teaspoon





Steps to prepare:
  1. If you have dried peas, then soak it for atleast 8 hours and then cook it for 5-6 whistles in a cooker with water, salt and drain it.
  2. If you got the fresh peas, then cook it for 1 whistle in a cooker with water and salt, drain it and keep it away.
  3. Take a kadaai or pan , add oil, mustard, fennel, onion, curry leaves, garlic paste and fry it.
  4. After 1 minute, add peas ,chilly powder, salt, biriyani powder and coriander leaves.Fry it for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
This can go well with Rice and Roti.
