Curd Rice

Ingredients:
  • Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 1 tblspoon
  • Mustard - 15
  • Cumin - 20
  • Fennel - 10
  • Curry leaves - 10
  • Red Chilly or Green Chilly - 1 sliced
  • Ginger - 1 piece (chopped)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Coriander leaves - small amount
  • Asofoetida - 1 pinch




Steps to prepare:
  1. Take the cooked hot rice in a bowl and keep it seperate.
  2. Take 1 another bowl pour curd and milk (it should not so hot,it should be warm) and mix it together.
  3. Now take a Pan, add oil, mustard, cumin, fennel, ginger, chilly, curry leaves, asofoetida and season it.
  4. Add this seasoned items into the curd and stir it .
  5. Now add this curd into the rice bowl and mix it well.
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and cherries (or) with grapes.
Serve it with pickle or with some other fried items like chicken,fish or gopi(cauliflower).
